If space is cared for, everything improves, the broken care economy and the courage to be disliked.

I figure summer time, when things are a bit quiet, is a good time to do behind the scenes updates. And you see, the thing is, often once I start, I find it really hard to stop.

Like, this weekend, I started cleaning. My youngest kids were away. I thought I'd do it for an hour or so. 6 hours later I was still going. Oops.

Similarly, I started making some Rosieland changes. This effort lasted a week of continuous updates. And I've ended up with a pretty big revamp of Rosieland. It's been fun. I've taken my research over the past 6 years and have started to turn it into something even more tangible.

I've even created the ability to "Ramble" to accommodate my continued detachment from social media. Go on, have a peek, you know you want to.

But the interesting thing here, for me, is not just building features for the sake of it. It's more that it has gotten me thinking, that little bit more outside the box. To the point, that I'm like, hang on, all this social media malarky can go do one. It's only made me want to go advocate more and more for independent spaces, away from the siloed social walls. If there is a time to play and experiment, it is now.
